Davido, an Afrobeat musician, has disclosed the price he now demands for a feature.

The disclosure was revealed by the Timeless musician in a widely shared video of a recent social media interview.

Davido said that he now charges international musicians $100k (N46m) for his appearances rather than giving them out.

“Nigga, I’m starting to charge. Yes, I am now charging. I’m sending my attorneys. $100k if I know you,” he assured.

Some Nigerians responded in the comments section in the following ways:

“Na to give Portable N2 million,” said I_am_Wizzpro. not now.

“What if the song did not blow,” said an africano.

If I spend that much money on a feature, mcaboki_oap declared, “I won’t sing something that would cause Davido to go tell me say na me destroy the song, I go leave the song for am alone. I’ll just be yelling at the noise in the background.

“Local artists in the US charge above $200,000,” said donelsupreme.

Mr. Nerooo: “I believe he is referring to foreign performers.”
