The Ohanaeze Youths Movement has supported the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) decision over the new withdrawal limit policy, claiming that the House of Representatives’ opposition to it was driven by accused vote-buying agents.
In a statement provided to Vanguard on Friday in Abuja by the group’s Secretary General, Nwada Amaka, the group requested the House to overturn its suspension decision.
The young people said that the House Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, and other politicians who rejected the CBN policy were using the resolution to appease their godfathers.

“We are certain that the illegal and erroneous House of Representatives resolution on CBN cash limitations was initiated by purported agents of vote buying.
The youths urged the Gbajabiamila-led House of Representatives to retract its unconstitutional resolution opposing cash withdrawal limits and extend their regrets to President Buhari.
