Super Eagles depart for Bissau to face Djurtus in the AFCON Qualifier

On Sunday, the Super Eagles of Nigeria took a flight to Guinea-Bissau to play the Djurtus of that country in the rematch of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match.

On Sunday, the team’s representatives and players departed for Bissau from Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

At the Osvaldo Vieira International Airport in Bissau, they are anticipated to arrive.

Later today, Jose Peseiro’s team will visit Estadio 24 de Septembro to get a feel for the stadium.

In the opening match on Friday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja, the Super Eagles fell to the Djurtus by a score of 1-0.

The match on Monday will begin at 6 p.m. Nigerian time.
