Elma Aveiro, Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister, responded to a video of her brother sobbing after Portugal was eliminated from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

After Morocco knocked Portugal from the World Cup over the weekend, Ronaldo sobbed uncontrollably.

After the game’s final whistle, the former Manchester United forward could be seen crying as he made his way down the tunnel.

After Youssef En-Nesyri scored the game’s lone goal for Morocco against Portugal in the World Cup quarterfinal match, the 37-year-old player came off the bench.

Ronaldo later left the field in tears when Morocco eliminated them from the 2022 World Cup.

Aveiro responded on Monday in a post to her Instagram account, calling the video of Ronaldo sobbing lovely and said she couldn’t stop watching it.

“Not everyone shares ideals like beauty, love, gratitude, and worth… I don’t know if I made myself realize more pride, the finest human being, a fantastic son, brother, or father, or just a beautiful film that I never get tired of seeing that isn’t in Portuguese.

Thank you, God, for giving me this kid or man, of whom I am so proud and who I adore with all my might, as a brother. I thank God. Thank you, Ronaldo,” She wrote next to the video.
