Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC’s presidential hopeful, met with Southeast stakeholders on Thursday, including manufacturers, merchants, and private investors/trade organizations.
The encounter, which took place in Imo State, served as a warm-up for his upcoming presidential campaign there.
In his speech, Governor Hope Uzodimma praised His Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for meeting in person with private sector owners and entrepreneurs in the southeast.
The Governor told the presidential flag bearer and everyone in attendance that Imo State is at the forefront to secure the triumph of the party, the All Progressives Congress, while stressing that Imo State is APC compliant (APC).
If elected president in the upcoming election, Tinubu promised Southeast enormous growth in his remarks to leaders of the business sector and traders associations.
He claimed that as a result of his experiences and the lessons he has learned, he is aware of the difficulties faced by South-East Asian traders, business owners, and citizens.
APC National Chairman Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the party’s Vice Presidential Candidate Senator Kashim Shettima, Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi, who serves as the Coordinator for the South, and House of Representatives Deputy Speaker Hon. Idris Wase were among those present at the TownHall meeting.
Senator Abubakar Kyari, the Deputy National Chairman for the North of the APC, Barrister Emma Enekwu, and a few other members of the party’s National Working Committee were also present.
