Adams Oshiomhole, a former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, which is currently in power, claimed that Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential nominee, lacks the moral authority to advocate for national unity in Nigeria.

In an interview with Politics Today on Channels Television on Wednesday, Oshiomole made this claim.

You (Atiku) can’t run your home, you’re a recurrent divorcee, and you want to preach family values to me?
Atiku is a “serial betrayer” and the “weakest” of all the front-runners for the 2023 presidential election, claims the former governor of Edo state.

It is character-speaking. When you have a strong feeling of conviction, you cannot switch parties every time an election comes around, he added.

The former governor asserts that Atiku’s desire is only for himself, not for Nigeria.

He added that Atiku cannot be trusted, a sentiment mirrored by the G5 or the Integrity Group, a group of disgruntled PDP governors.

He claimed that the PDP governors had declared they couldn’t trust him because he had broken every arrangement they had with him.
