Rev. Fr. Kelvin Ugwu, a Nigerian Catholic priest working in Malawi, has claimed that the Independent National Election Commission, INEC, changed the results of the presidential elections on Saturday.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the Labour Party, two opposition parties, claimed that the results being tallied in Abuja were fabricated by persons in positions of power.

In a similar spirit, Fr Kelvin claimed that INEC officials were compromised in a post on his verified Facebook page, emphasizing that all the results had been rigged.

Fr. Kelvin asserted that even the Malawian government was not pleased with the development while praising the previous president, Olusegun Obasanjo, for his appeal for the cancellation of the results.

“As for Olusegun Obasanjo, I am delighted he said what he said,” the message says in part. You can tell he wasn’t just talking out of his head if you pay close attention to what he says. INEC is insecure. The outcomes were all altered. All! Lagos among others.

Hence, even if Obi is declared the victor of this election, it is not time to celebrate until the accurate results are made public.

“I’m not posting the images from Rivers below so you won’t have seen them already, but rather so you can see one important thing: Their Audacity.

“Those who are rigging this election are merely asserting that we own you and that we can do whatever we want with impunity. They have been acting anyway they choose for years, and nothing has happened.
