The Peoples Democratic Party, the Labour Party, and the African Democratic Congress have unanimously demanded that INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu resign from his position as chief election officer due to his alleged biases.
The decision was made by the three parties during a joint press conference in Abuja when they also voted to remove him from his position as INEC chairman.
They made the decision in a news conference when a video showed Yakubu making the BVAS machine promise to be utilized in a conversation with some foreign pre-election observers last November was played.
Also, they demanded that the presidential election be officially canceled. claiming that what INEC is doing now is allocation of results rather than result collation.
